So while out getting some Indian food in the Parma area in Cleveland, my friend Katherine and I stumbled upon this antique/thrift store right across from a Sears. We checked it out and there was a bunch of junk, and a lot of cool stuff too! This, was one of them and for $15 I was sold! I really do like the natural wood of it but want to replace the speaker panels with either some fabric or paint??? We will see! It's one of my many summer projects I have planned to keep me busy!
This is a headboard from either the 80s or 90s that my mom and I found in Athens at a thrift store...got it for $12 and we are currently using it as a card holder and shot glass display case. haha. The plan is to make it into a bookcase and most likely paint....I'm leaning towards a black...but I frequently change my mind.....

ReplyDeleteMy thoughts are that you should definitely get one! Mom got me one for my birthday last year and I have to admit that if I had gotten it for myself it would have been a good investment....you wouldn't believe how handy it's been! Now I just need a power sander and maybe a miter saw lol
